THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:

In this position you will be responsible for planning, preparing and analyzing local, state and federal tax returns for the company.
Research and develop tax savings strategies for the company.
Correspond with external firms to ensure the completion of the federal tax return and other multifaceted projects.
This position is responsible for supervising and overseeing a staff.

BACKGROUND PROFILE:

The ideal candidate would possess a Master’s Degree in business and 4+ years of experience, or a Bachelor’s Degree in business with 7+ yrs experience.
Applicant should have excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
Must have experience in Microsoft Office, experience with Oracle, Vertex Quantum, PTMS, and ProSystems software is a plus.
Candidate should possess detailed knowledge of accounting methods as well as tax law and related requirements.
