Regional Manager - Grain Cooperative

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

 

Hire, coach, train, and retain highly qualified people.

 

Provide timely performance appraisals for regional employees.

 

Make recommendations for wage adjustments.

 

Establish production/quality standards and goals.

 

Assure personal/professional development experiences for all employees, including promotional opportunities.

 

Assure consistent, timely and accurate implementation of company policies and procedures related to sales/service, credit, administration, regional operations, equipment maintenance, personnel and safety.

 

Assist in the development of company policies and procedures.

 

Oversee, direct and manage daily regional operations.

 

Responsible for the timely loading of 100-car shuttle trains.  Shuttle loading includes having adequate personnel available and following corporate grain policies to assure quality of grain being loaded.  These functions must be performed with safety as a top priority. 

 

Coordinate branch activities in department sales programs.

 

Assure facility cleanliness, safety and general maintenance.

 

Assure proper safety/maintenance of regional equipment, tools, chemicals, buildings,

and grounds.
