POSITION:

Quality Manager

 COMPANY PROFILE: 

            We are proud to represent a client who is above and beyond their manufacturing competitors.  Through the years they continue to focus on innovation and expanding their manufacturing capabilities. Located in the Twin Cities area, our client is seeking to add an experienced Quality Manager to their team.

WHAT THE COMPANY WILL OFFER YOU: 

• As the Quality Manager for this company, they offer a competitive base salary of $80,000 - $95,000. 
• This company likes to retain their best employees, so in addition to the salary you will also receive a first-rate full benefits package complete with 100% covered medical insurance on preventative and convenience care services.  They also offer dental 100% covered preventative, a flex plan, vacation, holidays, sick days, STD, LTD and life.  
• As an employee for this company you will also be able to take part in profit sharing up to 9%.

THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY: 

• You will be an integral part of this company, while supervising others.
• This position is responsible for coordinator and inspection groups to ensure products correspond with customer prerequisites.
• You will be accountable for project support that will improve profitability and workflow.  You will work with tools such as 5S, Kaizen, quick changeover, mistake proofing, and more.
• In this position you will participate in staff development according to the policies of the company, while establishing goals.
• Making certain that costs of quality metrics coordinate with the company’s proposals.
• Example of metrics you will be responsible for include scrap, returns, appraisal, prevention, etc.

 BACKGROUND PROFILE: 

• The ideal candidate should posses 5+ years of experience of quality supervision, in a manufacturing or job shop environment.
• Knowledge and understanding of SPC and CoQ is essential.
• Applicant should have a Bachelors Degree.
