POSITION:

Process Engineer – Pultrusion

THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:

• In this position you will be provide support for process engineering and drive continuous improvement in the pultrusion process.
• Recommend and acquire equipment needed in order to successfully improve our quality and cost position as it relates to pultrusion.
• Ensure that production progress is timely and cost efficient.
• Develop processes, from concept to commercial launch.
• Troubleshoot and determine cause of issues and make recommendations on the production floor to resolve issues.
• Assist in first time runs on various products with the production employees, and report necessary data.
• Utilize formulation chemistry to address complex problems associated with improvements to and development of the processes.
• Troubleshoot and assist customers with problems.
• Train production personnel in the use of new equipment.

BACKGROUND PROFILE:

• Three plus years of experience in product or process development, with specific knowledge of composites/pultrusion processes.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Knowledge and understand of the pultrusion industry.
• Knowledge of PLC systems/programming.
• Experience in electrical and pneumatic diagram.
