Project Engineer

THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:

• This position will oversee all aspects of the production development process.  
• You will initiate project schedules while ensuring project deadlines are met according to company specifications.
• Define, develop and lead engineering projects from prototype development through production implementation, including field follow-up.
• Ensure proper testing is performed on new and redesigned equipment and interpret FEA testing results.
• Review/approve technical publications.
• Oversee and train staff to increase product knowledge.
• Ensure products are completed in a timely manner and are cost efficient.

BACKGROUND PROFILE:

• Four plus years of experience or combination of equivalent education and experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Agriculture, Electrical or related field.
• Knowledge and understanding of how to operate industrial equipment, shop hand tools, and other applicable machines.
• Ability to work with employees on design, build, sell, service, and operate machines.
• Be able to provide customer service when necessary.
• Knowledge of FEA, lean, stress analysis, hydraulics, electrical systems, and manufacturing processes.
• Candidate must be a problem solver, detail oriented, and a leader.
• Ability to prepare engineering analysis of projects to include: preliminary design, calculation, life cycle, and equipment selection.
