Production Supervisor
Major Responsibilities:
- Supervise the maintenance of a safe, clean and secure work environment for all associates in a designated area.
- Ensure fair and consistent application of and adherence to all established company quality standards, policies and procedures.
- Plan, organize and develop company resources to meet all established goals and objectives for on-time shipment of product to customer. Enforce all preventative maintenance schedules as applicable.
- Provide training to ensure that only qualified personnel (per ISO standards) are assigned to perform work.
- 5. Control and maintain all documentation necessary to meet federal, state and local government regulations and mandates, as well as, company and ISO requirements
- Identify areas to improve and then lead teams to complete the improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in either a technical or business curriculum preferred.
- Minimum of two years’ supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a welding or metalworking industry, with at least two years’ business experience.
- Should have worked without direct supervision with a high degree of personal accountability.
- Proven record of continuing training through schools or seminars.
- Training or demonstrated experience in positive management techniques and team building concepts preferred.
- Welding and metal working experience preferred.
- Computer skills required: MS Excel including graphing, Word, and Powerpoint
- Salary: $52,000 - $60,000
