POSITION:

Production Manager

Located in the Aberdeen, SD Area our manufacturing client has shown success for nearly half a century, and has become a worldwide leader in their industry for producing high-quality products. They are currently seeking to add a Production Manager to their dynamic team.

THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:

• In this position you will supervise and oversee the production process of the facility.
• Coordinate, lead, and manage product development to ensure products meet schedules and the objectives of the company.
• Assist Test and Mechanical Engineering Staff to achieve company goals.
• Provide yearly review of employees while identifying training needs and making staff recommendations.
• Utilize the ERP System (Oracle) used in the manufacturing department.
• Responsible for the opening and closing duties of the building when needed.
• Make recommendations as needed regarding work procedures and area assignments.

BACKGROUND PROFILE:

• Three plus years of experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing, Operations, or related field.
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing techniques.
• Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
• Knowledge and understanding of Excel.
• Applicant should be a self-starter, a leader, and possess excellent people skills.
