THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:
- Assist in the execution of continuous improvement of manufacturing processes using Lean practices (Kaizen), 6 Sigma and Ergonomics.
- Assist in the evaluation, testing and implementation of manufacturing methods using Quality and Lean techniques.
- Support the design department regarding product design and tooling.
- Support other departments such as management and engineering regarding production schedules, safety, and other areas dealing with production processes.
- Assist in the application of statistical process control (SPC) methods for analyzing data to evaluate processes.
- Assist in providing measurement systems analysis (MSA) data when applicable to ensure data quality.
- Ensure that products meet customer requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.

BACKGROUND PROFILE:
- 2+ years experience in the manufacturing industry
- Ideal candidate would possess an Associate’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering Technology or the equivalent experience.
- Experience in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to learn AutoCad or Pro-E.
- Applicant must be a quick-learner, driven and self-motivated.
