POSITION:

Plant Engineer

Located in the Sioux Falls, SD area, our client, a high quality feed producer is a leader amongst agriculture operations nationwide and has been progressively growing since they opened.  To add to their success they are seeking a Plant Engineer for one of their facilities.  This company is a large supplier throughout the Midwest, and they have shown success by staying loyal to their customers and offering quality products at an affordable price.

WHAT THE COMPANY WILL OFFER YOU:

• This company likes to retain their excellent employees so they offer this position an exceptional starting base salary of $80,000 - $95,000.

• For your future, our client will help you plan and to do so the\y offer a 401k plan either pretax or post-tax option.  The company will match $.50 to every dollar, up to 6% of salary.

THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:

• In this position you will assist in a variety of areas including design, project management, problem solving, and more.
• Responsible for meeting project deadlines in a cost efficient manner.
• Enforce workplace safety to employees.
• Ensure that projects are in compliance with all regulations including Federal and State.
• Make decisions based on cost and quality.
• Participate and assist in the PSM program.
• Other duties as assigned.

BACKGROUND PROFILE:

The ideal candidate would have:

• 3+ years of experience in engineering responsibilities. Experience in an energy, agriculture, or ethanol facility a definite plus.
• Bachelors Degree in Agriculture or Engineering field.
• Experience with bio-fuels preferred.
• Proficient understanding of maintenance skills
• Knowledge of safety regulations such as OSHA, EPA, and PSM.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
