Designer/Drafter

THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:
- In this position you will design and make engineering drawings for projects assigned.
- Prepare drawings for detail and assembly work along with overall layout work.
- Make engineering calculations by utilizing CAD/CAM, AUTO CAD and INVENTOR to ensure proper selection of components for equipment or projects.
- Work with other draftsmen on various equipment and projects.
- Design new products, developments on a product line according to specifications.
- Assist in completing assignments in a timely manner.
- Other duties as assigned.

BACKGROUND PROFILE:
- Three plus years of experience in Purchasing and Inventory Management.
- Two year degree in Mechanical Drafting/Design Technology required.
- Experience in heavy equipment and/or structural design.
- Experience in Auto CAD 2-D and INVENTOR 3-D CAD software or similar software like SolidWorks or Pro-E preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
