Director of Sales (Strategic Accounts)

   A leader in the bio-refining industry and growing vastly throughout the Midwest our client is seeking a Director of Sales for Strategic Accounts to head up the sales for their successful business operation located in the Sioux Falls, SD Area.


WHAT THE COMPANY OFFERS YOU:

  • Offering you the opportunity to work with other top-professionals while striving to achieve the goals of the company by taking initiative and showing leadership in the sales department.
  • A competitive base salary of $70,000 - $90,000 and a 10% bonus, in addition to an executive benefits package.

THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:

  • On a day-to-day basis you will assist in closing difficult deals.
  • Be responsible for meeting the goals of the business, by matrix managing resources.
  • Develop and execute sales while using marketing and business strategies at the account level with preset budgets.
  • Research potential products and markets, communicate findings with necessary departments.
  • Evaluate sales opportunities; forecasting.
  • Be a contributor to strong gate project management process.
  • Work with commercial development, S&T and other branches of companies to create an efficient sales program with results in predetermined contracts and profitability.

BACKGROUND PROFILE:

The ideal candidate should posses:

  • 7+ years of experience in business development, sales, marketing preferably in agriculture or biotech industry.
  • Master’s Degree
  • Knowledge of the bio-refining industry.
  • Must have a proven track record of building sales and sales team
  • Basic Computer skills (Microsoft Office)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Salary: $70,000 - $90,000
