THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:
- In this position you will be responsible for drafting projects and conceptual design work.
- Estimate project costs and time frame, including communicating with vendors and gathering quotes.
- Will assist in testing, debugging, and follow-up on projects.
- Troubleshoot tooling or equipment issues on previous projects and provide recommendations.
- Provide all ISO 9001 related documentation, as well as completion of other necessary paperwork and communications for projects.
- Stay up-to-date on contracts, vendors, and Engineering literature to increase manufacturing capability of the company.
- Ensure a safe working environment regarding tooling and equipment in use.
- Be conscious of all projects of other Engineers.
- Communicate and provide customers with Engineering-related information, may be direct or indirect contact.

BACKGROUND PROFILE:
- Three plus years of experience in a manufacturing setting, (specific knowledge of composites/pultrusion processes preferred).
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Knowledge and understanding of the plastics industry.
- Knowledge of PLC systems/programming.
- Must be detail-oriented with and possess excellent communication skills.
