Design Engineer

THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:

• This position requires the Engineer to be responsible for the entire project cycle to include design, development, and project completion within the Solid Works program.
• This individual will coordinate all engineering releases and changes relative to routings, setting standards, and data entry then follow up with Fabrication and Operation Managers.
•  It will be essential to determine priorities with the Fabrication and Operation Managers and implement cost reduction projects while maintaining detailed documentation as required.
• The Engineer will confer with Sales Department to consider market potential for new products and develop new products from the beginning concept to testing and full production.
• This individual must be able to communicate drawings with fabrication team so the fabrication team can properly construct a quality product from the drawings

BACKGROUND PROFILE:

• Three plus years of design experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Knowledge of SolidWorks, Auto CAD and basic computer skills.
• Ability to prepare engineering analysis of projects to include: preliminary design, calculation, life cycle, and equipment selection.
