Essential Job Functions:

1. Participate in the development of the Agency’s financial strategies.
2. Provide timely and accurate analysis of budgets and financial reports on a monthly and annual basis.
3. Enhance and/or develop, implement and enforce policies and procedures of the Agency by way of systems that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the agency.
4. Provide continual improvement of the budgeting process through education of department managers on financial issues impacting their budgets.
5. Manage the Agency’s Accounts Receivable both from retail and wholesale bases to minimize any agency write-offs or losses.
6. Optimize the handling of bank and deposit relationships and initiate appropriate strategies to enhance cash position.
7. Develop a reliable cash flow projection process and reporting mechanism which includes minimum cash threshold to meet operating needs.
8. Drive automation, streamlining and consistency within the Accounting Department.
9. Utilize Agency Management System by fluently pulling required detail from the system maximizing reporting capabilities.
10. Responsible for resolving all accounting discrepancies, internally and externally, with the carrier.
11. Be an advisor from the financial perspective on any contracts into which the Agency may enter.
12. Provide direction and supervision of the accounting team for continual improvement of the efficiency and effectiveness of the group as well as providing individuals with professional and personal growth.

• Salary: $50,000-85,000
