THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:
- Utilize and assist in developing strategic sourcing strategies, while working with various departments.
- Develop requests for proposals and uphold quote files for commodities.
- Provide risk assessment when developing new sources of supply.
- Develop material planning parameters and monitor daily activities.
- Lead negotiations and supplier selection.
- Assist in lowering overall cost of ownership.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

BACKGROUND PROFILE:
- Bachelors in Human Resource Management or Business
- 3+ years experience.
- Knowledge of Six Sigma.
- Experience in purchasing practices, contract negotiations, and purchasing laws and regulations.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Applicant must be a leader, driven and self-motivated.
