AGRONOMY SALES POSITION

Since this successful business operation continues to increasingly grow they are seeking to add a Agronomy Salesperson. 

WHAT THIS COMPANY OFFERS YOU:

  • You will get to be an integral part of this company’s team.
  • In this Sales position, you will start at a base salary of $50,000 - $60,000+ depending on experience, as well as a $5,000 - $15,000 in annual bonuses.
  • Additionally, you will receive a full benefits package including health, dental, 401K, and a superior retirement plan company will match 10%-12%.
  • This position is also provided with a company vehicle, cell phone, and laptop.
  • This opportunity has an immense possibility of advancement to grow into a seniority role.

THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY: 

  • While supporting the agronomy program for this facility, you will develop annual programs for farmers/customers including soil testing, field mapping, product recommendations, timely and accurate application, field monitoring as needed, record keeping, and follow-up calls.
  • You will add to the existing customer base by compiling lists of prospective customers to develop sales leads and utilizing sales strategies.
  • Make recommendations based on soil sample results.
  • Offer excellent customer service, by servicing agronomic needs.
  • This position is responsible for the preparation of reports as requested by Sales Manager or Branch Manager.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

BACKGROUND PROFILE: 

  • The ideal candidate should posses:
  • B.S. degree (preferred not required) or 1+ year of related experience or equivalent combination of both.
  • Computer skills specifically knowledge of database software, Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Should have agronomy background or a proven track record of the ability to organize and carry-out sales plans by performing one-on-one successful selling techniques with agricultural crop producers.
