As a native of Springfield, South Dakota, I believe in the old adage of Midwestern work ethic, which means we will not stop until the job is filled or completed. I feel very fortunate to be able to work in an industry that offers such challenges day after day.
I am a graduate from the University of Sioux Falls and I reside in the great little community of Dell Rapids (just 12 minutes north of Sioux Falls) with my wife Stephanie and three young children. We are actively involved with St. Mary school and Church activities. I have also been honored to be quoted in the USA Today, MSNBC, the Wall Street Journal, Agri Insights and various business journals.
We want to learn and understand what opportunities would be most beneficial to the candidates that we work with. It comes down to long lasting relationships and representing the companies that top performers want to work for. Understanding our client’s needs inside and out, then delivering with the results and service they deserve. A native of Spearfish SD, I graduated from Mount Marty College in Yankton, with a BA in Business Administration. My professional career started in banking and led me to the exciting world of recruiting. I am a board member of Dell Rapids Chamber of Commerce and also a member of Synergy in Sioux Falls. I participate in the World Vision organization and enjoy volunteering and getting involved wherever I can.
When out of the office, I surround myself with family and friends. I enjoy playing amateur baseball for the Dell Rapids Mudcats and getting back to the Black Hills to hunt and fish whenever possible. Most of my free time is spent with family and friends or whatever kind of project I have going on. Springfield has one of the best 9 hole golf courses in the state and I am usually out swinging away.

I spent most of my life living in South Dakota. I grew up in Burke, SD, lived for a time in Dupree, SD and have spent the last 19 years in Springfield. My wife Jolene and I have been married for over 23 years and have 2 college aged children.
I have worked in the human services and construction and building trades fields. I hold a Bachelors Degree in Chemical Dependency Counseling and have spent the past 19 years working with troubled youth in a residential setting.

Sometimes our Midwest values lock us into a job and there is a certain comfort level involved that keeps us in that job. What that job may be lacking, however is satisfaction. I come from the small town of Volga, SD where I grew up on a small acreage a few miles south of town. During the summers I spent a lot of time walking beans and throwing bales. After high school, I went on the get an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration at Southeast Technical Institute. I grew up on a lake in Redfield, SD. My mother and father have been married for 38 years, and work side-by-side at American Family Insurance for the last 32 years. Michaella considers herself to be a world traveler and has been to France, Ireland, Scotland, and Mexico this just being a few countries on her long wish list.
